Outreach
    ●  Outreach services vary depending on the needs of each individual and organization. At the Ray County Library, we are proud of how far this program has come. We have partnered with different organizations and facilities throughout the Ray County area to provide services, as well as deliver books to homebound individuals. Delivering books is a personal experience in which the librarian gets to know the reader and chooses the material based on their preferences.  Please call us at 816-776-5104 to deliver books or to provide a facility outreach for your organization.

Reserve a Librarian

    ●  The Ray County Library’s Reserve a Librarian service allows you to spend a 30-minute session with a librarian who can offer assistance tailored to your needs. This will allow you to reserve a librarian for an uninterrupted one-on-one, face to face, 30-minute session. Reserve a Librarian requires 3-day advance notice and requests for specific times are dependent on staff availability. Appointments are limited to 30 minutes in length to allow staff to serve the greatest number of residents. To set up a convenient time please contact the front desk at 816-776-5104.
